Elevation map. The elevation map is based on the SRTMGL1 v003, NASA Shuttle Radar Topography Mission Global 1 arc second digital elevation model (DEM). Data were downloaded from https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/srtmgl1v003/ on 1 October 2023. The data were smoothed by taking the mean over a 5 x 5 pixel window before calculating the hillshade.
